Queen of the Car

We did some carseat shuffling last week! When Nathaniel turned one we bought him the next step up in the Graco Safeseat line. It's sort of an unusual looking seat. One of the reasons we got it is because it actually reclines, allowing a toddler to sleep more comfortably on long car rides. Because of this feature it sits up pretty high, and Nathaniel really enjoyed being able to see out of our SUV's windows more easily. Because of its height and also the extra padding on the sides to make it extra safe, we have joked that it looks similar to a throne. Lately Nathaniel has been feeling a little cramped in it so instead of purchasing a new carseat for Mary, we got a new one for Nathaniel and moved Mary to his seat. So she is now Queen of the car! We determined she doesn't like change. At first she seemed REALLY confused as to why we were putting her in her brother's seat, but after a bit she realized she can see so much more, and now she likes it!





And yes, that's my son cuddling a pink bunny. :D
